Like with any of the other lists people have done, I'll be looking at several aspects of each matchup: their connections, why specifically I want them, who I'd root for, what I think their CAC name should be, what animation style I'd want it to be, who I think wins, my thoughts on their alternatives and how likely I think each matchup is. I can guarantee probably less than a quarter of these will ever actually happen but. For this list, I gathered up not 100, not 150, but a whopping 200 different matchup ideas that I want to see happen at some point in the future.

Ever since I did that, the concept of doing top 100 lists on matchups people really want to see Death Battle do in the future has become extremely popular and widely done, but let it never be said that I'm not one to go above and beyond. well, for shits and giggles, I decided to do a top 50. Since I wasn't particularly satisfied with that list and. When I first joined the wiki, I put together a blog on 10 matchups I really wanted to see. but I'm doing it now so that I don't run the risk of half of the matchups on here either being announced or being shot down before I get around to it so consider this a very very very very very very very early celebration. My initial plan was to make this blog around half a year from now to commemorate my 1 year anniversary of being a member on the Death Battle wiki.
